Freshers Week at The Adamson

Every night from Monday 11th – Friday 15th September we will host an event in the cocktail bar with humping beats, red hot drinks and a whole load of beautiful people. The program begins with a Comedy Night hosted by Edinburgh Fringe favourite Bruce Devlin & friends on Monday 11th, TIKI themed cocktail party on Tuesday 12th and ‘Don’t Walk’ Fashion Show soiree on Wednesday 13th.
This year we also welcome Edinburgh’s biggest student party night DIRTY SEXY to St Andrews on Thursday 14th and our special DJ will join us on Friday 15th. Amy Bryant our singer-song writer

Amy has been playing at the Adamson cocktail bar over the summer. Before her return to local music college her final appearance with us will be on 10th September with 2 sessions 18:00 – 18:45 and 19:30 – 20:15. Amy will give us a taste of current pop music, as well as classics and her own original work. Please come along and enjoy some fabulous music of someone who is going to be a star in the future.

The 2nd St Andrews Photographic Festival

We are proud to support this excellent celebration of Scottish Photography. This year in our cocktail bar we have works by Calum Colvin, RSA OBE, including ‘Camera Lucida II’ based on a drawing ‘Head of an Apostle’ by the Renaissance master Albrecht Dürer. In addition we will have a display of Fòcas India with Scottish artists: Lucie Rachel, Hannah Laycock  and  Gemma Dagger, whose work has been selected for a digital commission from the British Council and Creative Scotland.

Exclusive Event: Jo Malone Fragrance Launch

The Adamson have teamed up with Jo Malone’s St Andrews boutique for their largest fragrance launch of the year.
This September we will create bespoke cocktails to celebrate the launch of their spellbinding fragrances, ‘English Oak & Redcurrant’ and ‘English Oak & Hazelnut’. The private event will take place on Friday 8th September.

Gin Masterclass: Exclusive for Autumn/Winter

Truth be told, there’s more to gin than tonic!
This Autumn at The Adamson, discover the origins and history of Scotland’s favourite tipple, as our experts guide you through our NEW gin tasting masterclass.
Enjoy a range of expertly selected gins, as you learn to identify the unique flavours and botanicals.
The inaugural Gin Masterclass will take place on Thursday 28th September from 6.30pm-8pm in the cocktail bar. We have a limited number of tickets available priced at £25 per person which includes a welcome Gin Cocktail followed by 4 Gin samples paired with tonics and garnishes. Once your journey has come to an end, you will receive a tasty gin and tonic of your choice.

New Menu: Happy Customers

We are delighted with the feedback we received about our NEW A la carte menu since its launch in August.
With new additions including crab with beetroot, carrot panna cotta, black crowdie & walnut; pork, fillet & belly, stornoway black pudding & puy lentils; israeli couscous, pea, sweetcorn, carrots, radish & shallot and parfait cranachan, raspberry, honeycomb ice cream.
These dishes and a lot more besides are there for you to enjoy.

Red Card September

New Summer A la Carte Menu

Say hello to our brand new mouth-watering menu, packed with sublime cuisine to tantalise your tastebuds, from nutritious nibbles to decadent desserts with flavour some seasonal ingredients and locally sourced products. Whether you’re planning a romantic three-course meal or a feast to feed the family, the new menu features an array of heavenly dishes. With new additions including bloody mary and ketel one vodka risotto, lamb loin with curried cauliflower, onion & mint bhaji and chicken with potato purée, tenderstem broccoli, chorizo & shallot. August Champagne Brunch

Sundays were meant for indulging, so pop the Champagne at our next fabulous brunch experience on Sunday 27th August. We invite you to enjoy a seasonally-focused brunch menu in the last of our Summer ‘Laurent Perrier Champagne Brunch’ events featuring a live DJ from 11.30am in the cocktail bar. Created by our Head Chef Stewart Macauley the menu will feature dishes including smashed avocado with poached eggs, streaky bacon with black truffle scrambled eggs and stornaway black pudding, hot smoked salmon, steak sandwich and dessert of eton mess or champagne sorbet.
