Happy Birthday!

It is time to celebrate at the Adamson. The Cocktail bar turned 2 on the 25th March and the Restaurant is 5 on the 3rd April. We had a great year by being awarded the Best Restaurant of the Year Casual Dining, SLTN Awards and Highly Commended Cocktail Bar of the Year, SLTN Awards. 
We would like to thank all our guests and team for their continued support and custom and look forward to welcoming you all during our 6th year of business!

Easter

We are looking forward to welcoming you and your family to celebrate Easter with us. The Restaurant & Bar are open from 12:00 – 00:00 throughout the Easter Holidays. We have a new kids menu with a gorgeous selection of burger, sausages, fish & chips, roast chicken and macaroni cheese. The kids can also enjoy making their own brownie dessert with mini Easter eggs.
On Easter Sunday we will be serving our delicious striploin Sunday roast with roast potatoes, green beans, carrots & yorkshire pudding.

Wine

We have been developing a new wine list with our suppliers, working with Justerini & Brooks, Laurent-Perrier, Woodwinters, De Burgh Wines & Alexander Wines to create the perfect list for our guests to enjoy. We have a gorgeous Anthonij Rupert Optima, a divine Mount Stapylton Chardonnay, a delicious Meerlust Rubicon and a superb Gervey Chambertain. We are very excited to introduce a Coravin system to serve some new premium red and white wines by the glass as well as the bottle. One of our favorites is Amarone Della Valpolicella to enjoy this spring and summer.

Cocktails

On the 6th April we are launching our new cocktail list with divine new recipes. Callum Merriman and Joe Cassidy have taken great inspiration from some of the world best bars, including Liquid Academy, Death & Co, Dead Rabbit and Attaboy. Showcasing the Aperitivo julep, low alcohol vermouth negroni style cocktail, Gypsy’s Eyes: gin, aperol & chartreuse or Bloomsbury: hybrid of a Manhattan and Sazerac, created for Jo Malone launch of the new fragrances the Bloomsbury set.

Red Card April

Our regular 2 for 1 Tuesday Burger Club and Oyster Happy Hour (Sunday – Thursday 17:00 – 18:00 in the cocktail bar) continue as normal. To enjoy all of these benefits guests are required to have signed up for our Red Card Club either online or in the restaurant.  T&Cs apply.

New spring menu

Head Chef Macca and the team always get excited about the spring opportunities for colour and taste of fresh produce. Our spring menu this year has been designed to excite and satisfy a wide range of palates using the finest ingredients. Come in and enjoy a starter of scallops with black truffle, cauliflower purée & chive oil, a côte de boeuf with macaroni cheese, hand cuts chips & ceasar salad to share and a dessert of coconut parfait with malibu, pineapple,caramelized bananas, rum & raisin ice cream,  Our new menu goes live on 3rd March, all details on our website.

Events

We were proud to host the VIP corporate sponsors reception for the fantastic DONT WALK fashion show on Saturday 25th February. We love hosting your private events in the Adamson: the restaurant & bar are a great venue for events like this & we have some others gorgeous events coming up this month. We are looking forward to welcoming Hearing AID, On The Rocks Students Art Festival reception, The Law Society and The Global Investment Group & INSEAD. We  also host a resident DJ- Alasdair Todd  on Tuesdays, 500 serves up our list of £5 cocktails & we play sultry house music, party  with us from  21.00 until 00.00. StAnza Festival

At the beginning of March each year St Andrews comes alive with the Stanza Festival “The Sound of Poetry”. StAnza 2017 will be the 20th successful year and a great line up is planned. Whether a morning, early afternoon or evening session is in your planning why not pop-in to the Adamson for lunch or pre-festival dinner or enjoy a cocktail after the show in our bar.
