Sundays were meant for indulging, so pop the Champagne at our next fabulous brunch experience on Sunday 27th August. We invite you to enjoy a seasonally-focused brunch menu in the last of our Summer ‘Laurent Perrier Champagne Brunch’ events featuring a live DJ from 11.30am in the cocktail bar. Created by our Head Chef Stewart Macauley the menu will feature dishes including smashed avocado with poached eggs, streaky bacon with black truffle scrambled eggs and stornaway black pudding, hot smoked salmon, steak sandwich and dessert of eton mess or champagne sorbet. Introducing: The Sea Kelpie Cocktail

To celebrate the arrival of the The Kelpie Maquettes to St Andrews, we have created a new cocktail.
The ‘Sea Kelpie’ is the latest addition to our menu created by our Bar Manager Joe Cassidy and will be available until October. The tanqueray gin based cocktail includes dry vermouth, koko kanu coconut rum and grass bitters. The Adamson served this special cocktail at the official launch on Saturday 29th July at the British Golf Museum with guests raising a toast with the ‘Sea Kelpie’ in hand to their arrival. The Adamson Around Scotland

The 7th Annual Crail Food Festival takes place between 10th – 11th June 2017 showcasing Scotland and Fife’s vibrant food & drink- and The Adamson will be there! Join our talented kitchen team for a food demonstration or our bar staff from the Cocktail bar who will be showcasing some of the finest cocktails on Sunday 11th June in venues around Crail. Graduation at The Adamson

After the years revising, researching and exams it’s time to celebrate. Dine from our specially created three-course Graduation dinner Menu for £49.95 per person. A reduced A la carte option is available at lunch.

Happy Birthday!

It is time to celebrate at the Adamson. The Cocktail bar turned 2 on the 25th March and the Restaurant is 5 on the 3rd April. We had a great year by being awarded the Best Restaurant of the Year Casual Dining, SLTN Awards and Highly Commended Cocktail Bar of the Year, SLTN Awards. 
We would like to thank all our guests and team for their continued support and custom and look forward to welcoming you all during our 6th year of business!


We are looking forward to welcoming you and your family to celebrate Easter with us. The Restaurant & Bar are open from 12:00 – 00:00 throughout the Easter Holidays. We have a new kids menu with a gorgeous selection of burger, sausages, fish & chips, roast chicken and macaroni cheese. The kids can also enjoy making their own brownie dessert with mini Easter eggs.
On Easter Sunday we will be serving our delicious striploin Sunday roast with roast potatoes, green beans, carrots & yorkshire pudding.


We were proud to host the VIP corporate sponsors reception for the fantastic DONT WALK fashion show on Saturday 25th February. We love hosting your private events in the Adamson: the restaurant & bar are a great venue for events like this & we have some others gorgeous events coming up this month. We are looking forward to welcoming Hearing AID, On The Rocks Students Art Festival reception, The Law Society and The Global Investment Group & INSEAD. We  also host a resident DJ- Alasdair Todd  on Tuesdays, 500 serves up our list of £5 cocktails & we play sultry house music, party  with us from  21.00 until 00.00. StAnza Festival

At the beginning of March each year St Andrews comes alive with the Stanza Festival “The Sound of Poetry”. StAnza 2017 will be the 20th successful year and a great line up is planned. Lunch for the V&A Dundee

Julie Lewis and Philip Long, Director of V&A Museum of Design Dundee, are hosting a lunch on 11th November to celebrate the progress of Scotland’s first design museum and to hear of its contribution to our local area now and in the future. I am sure it will be a fascinating opportunity for those guests attending to learn of the vision for this unique project. 

Savour St Andrews

Throughout November the Chefs of St Andrews come together to host two fabulous events. The first on 6th November is a “Taster Lunch” at the Old Course Hotel. Visitors will be able to eat their way around fabulous treats produced by various St Andrews businesses during a special extended lunch session. In pride of place will be the annual St Andrew’s Day Dinner, which is returning to the five star Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa on November 30th with a stellar line-up of cooking talent, and support from Quality Meat Scotland (QMS).
