Our Head Chef Stewart Macaulay and his award winning team have created a bespoke 3 course menu priced at £49.95 per person that includes a 220g Ribeye Steak: skinny fries & a sauce or Halibut: fennel, blood orange & ratte potato.
Our seasonal graduation menu is packed full of delicious treats for you to enjoy and our cocktails bar at The Adamson is the ideal venue for a pre or post lunch or dinner Champagne cocktail.

After the years revising, researching and exams it’s time to celebrate. Dine from our specially created three-course Graduation dinner Menu for £49.95 per person. A reduced A la carte option is available at lunch.

The Chateaubriand is Back

One of our favourite cuts, Chateaubriand, is back on the menu. Enjoy one of our 28 day dry-aged Chateaubriands to share for two gently charcoal grilled to your taste.
Chateaubriand is traditionally made from a thick centre cut of beef tenderloin. The cut weighs 500g and it is intended to serve two. This makes it a perfect meal to share at an intimate dinner in St Andrews. Indulge and book today: 01334 479 191

Wine

We have been developing a new wine list with our suppliers, working with Justerini & Brooks, Laurent-Perrier, Woodwinters, De Burgh Wines & Alexander Wines to create the perfect list for our guests to enjoy. We have a gorgeous Anthonij Rupert Optima, a divine Mount Stapylton Chardonnay, a delicious Meerlust Rubicon and a superb Gervey Chambertain. We are very excited to introduce a Coravin system to serve some new premium red and white wines by the glass as well as the bottle. One of our favorites is Amarone Della Valpolicella to enjoy this spring and summer.

New spring menu

Head Chef Macca and the team always get excited about the spring opportunities for colour and taste of fresh produce. Our spring menu this year has been designed to excite and satisfy a wide range of palates using the finest ingredients. Come in and enjoy a starter of scallops with black truffle, cauliflower purée & chive oil, a côte de boeuf with macaroni cheese, hand cuts chips & ceasar salad to share and a dessert of coconut parfait with malibu, pineapple,caramelized bananas, rum & raisin ice cream,  Our new menu goes live on 3rd March, all details on our website.

Eat the seasons

Autumn brings to life a number of great dishes of seasonal produce, including duck & venison. Both are included in our new menu and guests have been extremely complimentary about taste & flavor. Our dishes duck with creamed brussel sprouts, butternut squash & plum & venison with celeriac purée, fondant potato, chantenay carrots, golden beetroot & hazelnuts can be complimented with two fantastic wines from our cellar: côtes du rhône, domaine l’ancienne école rhône, france or château la graula, bordeaux périeur, bordeaux, france.

Celebrating Autumn – New menu

Autumn is a fantastic time of the year with sparkling colours and a whole new array of produce in season. Our new Autumn menu will commence on 11th October and we hope you will enjoy a starter of salmon caviche: crème fraiche, shallots, capers & orange, main of roast loin of venison: celeriac purée, fondant potato & chantenay carrots and dessert of roasted plum trifle: vanilla ice cream & ginger crumble. Full details of our new menu will be available on our website from 11th October.

Festive Matters

Planning the party season is now firmly on the agenda. Our Autumn menu will remain throughout December and we will have a special festive menu, which will be available from 1st to 24th December for both lunch & dinner. Be an early bird and for parties of 6 and more booked by the end of October each member of the party will get a glass of fizz on us. Look out for the festive menu on our website on 7th October.
Another great present for friends and family is an Adamson gift voucher, which can be booked online, directly by phone or in the restaurant.

New cocktail bar food menu

Following requests by our guests, we now have a more extensive food selection in the cocktail bar. Now serving food Sunday – Thursday 12:00 – 22:00 and Friday & Saturday 12:00 – 17:00. We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy dishes including oysters, burgers, the Adamson salad, mussels, cheeses, calamari and many more. New summer menu

We launch our summer menu on Tuesday 14th June and are extremely excited by starters including quail breast (egg & leg, peas, asparagus, broad beans & truffle), fish dishes, including plaice, halibut, salmon & lobster and a fantastic dessert of ”set chocolate custard” (lavender crumble, macadamia nuts, apple & milk sorbet). Excitement at graduation 2016!

We wish each one of you success & happiness in your lives & careers ahead. Thank you to our regular guests for your custom – we very much look forward to welcoming you back to St Andrews in the future. Throughout graduation week Monday 20th – Friday 24th June, we have a very special three-course lunch and dinner available and a reduced a la carte offering at lunch. Menus are available on our website. On 21st, 23rd & 24th join Alasdair Todd, our resident DJ, who will be playing in the cocktail bar.
