the Adamson terrace

with the latest restrictions in Scotland, we are now operating between 12 pm & 6 pm in the Adamson restaurant, we are also now no longer able to serve alcohol indoors.

we have worked very hard over the past few days to introduce a new addition to the Adamson, and we are now so excited to announce our Adamson Terrace. open from 12 pm – 10 pm daily and with the ability to still serve our cocktails, wines & beers, it is a great extension to us. we have the capacity in the terrace to seat over 30 people socially distanced, with some tables being covered overhead. it may be getting colder outside, but wrap up warm and come to enjoy some delicious food and cocktails.

we do need to say a massive thank you to Fife Council for their support in both planning and the transportation groups to advance our request and we are most grateful for the support we have received from Fife enterprise and Fife Business Gateway for this initiative. But also, to Scott’s Catering Services, who have made this process seamless for us all at the Adamson.

please note, we currently are not booking tables for the terrace and it is first come first served

reopening the adamson

as we are starting to see signs that we may be turning a positive corner during this global pandemic, we are delighted to be welcoming you all this summer and making the important steps that will allow us to soon, reopen the adamson doors to our much-loved guests. in the meantime, we are commencing our adamson @ home service from the 3rd of July, click here to view the menu

with the most recent updated government guidelines, we are working incredibly hard to make sure that the adamson will be a safe and comfortable environment for not only you, but also for our team. although these guidelines are starting to ease we are fully aware that this ‘new normal’ will not be an easy transition and that there may still be changes to come.

we have created a Post Covid 19 guide around these new changes and the government guidance to show everyone the steps we will be enforcing, but more importantly the steps we will be strictly following. this guide will continue to be updated as the guidelines change, with all updates posted on our website and social media platforms.

please be assured that our top priority is the safety of our guests and our team

post covid 19 survey results

we have been delighted and grateful for the response of approximately 700 guests who took time to respond to our survey. you can view the results of our survey by clicking here

please look out for follow up information on how we are planning to reopen and what procedures will be in place in the venues at that time

The Adamson @ Home

The Adamson @ Home

The team at the Adamson very much appreciate the support we have received from our guests and associates following our temporary closure on the 18th March.

As we are not serving dining in guests, we have decided to launch a new service ‘Adamson at Home’ from 12pm on the 21st of March which will operate daily from 12pm to 8pm offering your favourite dishes direct from the restaurant.

The new takeaway menu is on this website. To place an order please call the Adamson on 01334 479191, all orders must be paid over the phone.

Orders can be collected in the Adamson reception, at the kerb side or delivered free in the town centre and for a minimum order of £25 up to a 5-mile radius.

Our kitchen and our dedicated team have been working hard to prepare this exciting new service and we hope our guests enjoy our food at home just as much as you do in the restaurant. We hope to further develop our menu in the coming days.

Another way to support us is to buy a gift voucher for use in our restaurants and bar when we reopen. For every £30 spent as a mark of appreciation, we will include two complimentary Doctors Orders cocktails. The vouchers will be valid for 12 months.

COVID – 19

In light of recent government announcements, to increase social distancing to help stem the spread of covid -19, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend operations in the Adamson, the Adamson bar and Next Door from Wednesday 18th March.
We have done this to protect our guests, our staff and our community to try and slow down the spread of the virus. It goes without saying that these are unprecedented times and to a certain extent all businesses are having to react to a situation with is rapidly changing.
Thank you for your support during these extraordinary and uncertain times. We recognise that it’s a very worrying time for everyone and we are exploring options to best support our teams and loyal guests. We will keep you informed via our social media channels.
We hope you and your family stay well and look forward to being able to welcome you back to our restaurants as soon as it is safe to do so.
Stay safe,
The Adamson and Next Door
