The Adamson Alpine Chalet Ski Lodge Opens In St Andrews

Failed to get your ski trip booked this winter? Head to The Adamson in St Andrews for après ski without even leaving the country. The winter pop-up of Scandi-inspired chalets is back and this year you can tuck into winter warmers and sip on a dedicated list of Veuve Clicquot cocktails.

That’s right folks for party revellers keen to apres more than ski this festive season, all roads lead to St Andrews in Fife.

The Adamson restaurant and bar have transformed their bar and eatery this Christmas. For eight weeks from Thursday 21st November, SKI LODGE at The Adamson opens its doors in the Adamson Bar offering seasonal hot cocktails, winter-warming fare and entertainment needed for the Winter season.

Guests and visitors to the Fife town are now able to snuggle up and while away those cold afternoons and evenings. The Ski Lodge is a veritable wonderland of apres ski decked out like an Alpine lodge, complete with faux fur and twinkling lights aplenty.

Our award winning cocktail bar has been given a festive makeover by Veuve Clicquot, which means you can sip Champagne in a scandi-style lodge without going too far from home. It’s a festive wonderland – fun and lively, and the perfect place for a pre or post – Christmas friends get-together”.

Cocktails adorning the drinks list include creations such as Pom Pom Fizz; Veuve Clicquot, pomegranate & magic glitter dust and a Glenmorangie Hot Toddy as well a selection of Christmas Cocktail Trees that offer 9 arms featuring a variety of Champagne cocktails.

The Adamson Ski Lodge offers a family friendly kids menu complete with hot chocolate, milkshakes and festive treats. The Adamson Ski Lodge will be open daily till late. The venue is also available for private functions and Christmas parties.

Next Door All Day Menu

Following the successful opening in March, Next Door is proud to launch its new all-day, great value menu this month. To match the comfort of the season why not enjoy soups, salads, waffles & sandwiches such as fish fingers with rocket, tomato & chutney or indulge a series of light bites including hot & spicy king prawns with lime. Take a look at our attractive new drinks menu designed to suit all tastes. The  Next Door concept is you can have whatever you desire across any item on the menu all day.

Christmas and Hogmanay

Our festive two or three-course lunch and dinner menus are available from to £18.95 per person and are made with fresh, quality, seasonal ingredients of Smoked Salmon, succulent Roast Turkey with all the trimmings to a Chocolate and Chilli Mousse with Cherry and Raspberry sorbet.
Why not join us this Hogmanay for lunch or dinner which is always a special occasion at The Adamson. We are offering our a la carte menu all day and our team is here to look after you. For those New Year Eve revelers, our cocktail bar will be open until 2 am to see in the bells.

Veuve Cliquot Ski Lodge

The SKI LODGE in association with Veuve Clicquot returns on the 14th of November in our cocktail bar. This fully-equipped alpine ski bar will offer seasonal hot cocktails, winter-warming fare and all manner of quirky food and entertainment, just ideal for your festive celebrations!
The Adamson Sk Lodge will open Monday to Friday from 3pm and midday for Saturday to Sunday through to 4th of Jan 2020. The Ski Lodge will offer all kinds of family entertainment each Friday and Saturday. The Ski Lodge is also available for private functions and Christmas Parties.

The judging is over, the results are in, and the excitement is building for this years Scottish Licence Trade Awards.

Thanksgiving Day 2019

It’s time to give thanks once again, and this year St Andrew’s isn’t leaving it to the Americans. Thanksgiving 2019 falls on Thursday, November 28th and our team have created a scrumptious three-course dinner for £24.95 of Pumpkin, Apple & Chilli Soup, Roast Turkey, Winter Vegetables & Roast Potatoes rounding of with a Key Lime pie Tart with Salted White Chocolate Crumble.

Our festive season commences with Thanksgiving on the 29th November, Christmas celebrations from 2nd to 23rd December, rounding off on the Hogmanay.
Thanksgiving is a 3-course dinner for £24.99, Christmas lunch and dinners start from £18.95 and on Hogmanay, we will be serving our main menu for both, lunch and dinner.
