Enjoy a range of expertly selected gins, as you learn to identify the unique flavours and botanicals.
The inaugural Gin Masterclass will take place on Thursday 28th September from 6.30pm-8pm in the cocktail bar. We have a limited number of tickets available priced at £25 per person which includes a welcome Gin Cocktail followed by 4 Gin samples paired with tonics and garnishes. Once your journey has come to an end, you will receive a tasty gin and tonic of your choice.

August Champagne Brunch

Sundays were meant for indulging, so pop the Champagne at our next fabulous brunch experience on Sunday 27th August. We invite you to enjoy a seasonally-focused brunch menu in the last of our Summer ‘Laurent Perrier Champagne Brunch’ events featuring a live DJ from 11.30am in the cocktail bar. Created by our Head Chef Stewart Macauley the menu will feature dishes including smashed avocado with poached eggs, streaky bacon with black truffle scrambled eggs and stornaway black pudding, hot smoked salmon, steak sandwich and dessert of eton mess or champagne sorbet. Introducing: The Sea Kelpie Cocktail

To celebrate the arrival of the The Kelpie Maquettes to St Andrews, we have created a new cocktail.
The ‘Sea Kelpie’ is the latest addition to our menu created by our Bar Manager Joe Cassidy and will be available until October. The tanqueray gin based cocktail includes dry vermouth, koko kanu coconut rum and grass bitters. The Adamson served this special cocktail at the official launch on Saturday 29th July at the British Golf Museum with guests raising a toast with the ‘Sea Kelpie’ in hand to their arrival. Doctors Orders: Friday Night Cocktails LAUNCHING FRIDAY 16TH JUNE

Doctor’s orders are a must, whether that means getting more sleep, taking time for yourself, or a shot or two. But when we say shot, we’re not talking about the one you get at the doctors office – We’re talking alcohol…. Join us on Friday 16th June as we celebrate Summer with a Cocktail soiree and introduce our £5 cocktail offers for the weekend. A complimentary cocktail on arrival and a selection of canapés will be prescribed to guests who have a valid ‘Doctors Orders’ prescription card so look out for yours in the weeks to come… You are all under doctors orders to attend between 5pm-7pm on Friday June 16th with our LIVE DJ joining us to get your heartbeat pumped for the weekend ahead. Cocktails – the New Collection

Last month we launched a new cocktail and wine list of original and innovative serves for the spring and summer months. This new collection of drinks is the most recent work of our pioneering mixologists Joe Cassidy and Callum Merriman, following research of the latest trends in London and New York.
Taking centre stage is ‘The Tom Morris’ cocktail. As many of you will know, Tom was a Scottish professional golfer in the 1800’s and recognised as one of golf’s first young prodigies. This delightful cocktail features St Andrews Eden Mill Gin and Thurso River based Holy Grass Vodka.

Cocktail Masterclasses

The Adamson Cocktail Masterclass is an expertly guided tour through the dazzling world of cocktails. You’ll learn, you’ll party and you’ll discover all the secrets of the trade.
Each masterclass will be hosted by a dedicated mixologist who will talk you through each cocktail step by step. You will learn the history of our cocktails and each guest will make and drink each cocktail.

Enjoy our signature cocktail

The St Andrews May Ball team will bring all the glamour of Monte Carlo to the Old Course Hotel on Saturday 6 May 2017. The Adamson are delighted to be handcrafting a signature cocktail  for the event, “miss money penny”: love gin, aperol, lime, pink grapefruit & green chartreuse rinse. The evening promises to be a great night & we will be raising funds for so many wonderful local causes. On the 6th April we are launching our new cocktail list with divine new recipes. Callum Merriman and Joe Cassidy have taken great inspiration from some of the world best bars, including Liquid Academy, Death & Co, Dead Rabbit and Attaboy. Showcasing the Aperitivo julep, low alcohol vermouth negroni style cocktail, Gypsy’s Eyes: gin, aperol & chartreuse or Bloomsbury: hybrid of a Manhattan and Sazerac, created for Jo Malone launch of the new fragrances the Bloomsbury set.

Laurent-Perrier & Anthonij Rupert Wyne

Our Champagne Launch with Laurent-Perrier was very successful. We also pleased to announce our new relationship with Anthonij Rupert, Wyne, South Africa. We have added 3 of their fantastic wines to our list, including Optima: a cabernet sauvignon/merlot blend, Cape of Good Hope: Serruria Chardonnay and Cape of Good Hope: van lill & visser, chenin blanc the latter of which was awarded 95 points out of 100. Matched with food these wines are simply delightful!
